Join Huxley and WWU alums for the inaugural Huxley Goes the Distance for Racial Equality 5K/25K, bringing awareness to racial inequality while raising funds to support scholarships for WWU BIPOC Huxley students.
Lace up your shoes, pump your tires, and start stretching! Join Huxley College of the Environment in supporting BIPOC students in need in the Huxley Goes the Distance 5K. Walk, roll, run, hike, or prancercize your way to making Huxley and Western, and ultimately, our wild spaces and places, more inclusive. You can gather a team (socially distanced, of course) or participate on your own, at your own pace, on your own time.
You’ll have the opportunity to purchase a commemorative eco-cotton drawstring backpack in the race website’s store. In addition, top winners in the following categories will receive a custom medallion.
