Huxley Study Abroad Programs

Huxley College students have the opportunity to take environmental studies classes in Europe and other parts of the world through a number of faculty-led study abroad summer programs:

Wildlands Studies - Environmental Field Programs

The Department of Environmental Sciences partners with Wildlands Studies to provide international environmental field programs that offer participants firsthand experience with the critical issues facing our wild lands. Join Wildlands in sixteen different countries to learn field research, ecology, wildlife management, conservation and cultural geography. Students earn 5-15 upper division quarter credits that fulfills the ENVS or ESCI 498D Study Aboard requirement. Course grades factor into your cumulative GPA and six week programs are eligible for financial aid. This is an affordable environmentally focused study abroad program and is very popular with Huxley students. To learn more, visit the Wildlands Studies website, or contact Huxley Student Advisor Kathy Patrick.
