Emily was selected for her work on a Senior Thesis and Honors Program project on remote sensing in West Maui, Hawaii. Emily is graduating with an Environmental Science degree with a Geographic Information Science minor and certificate. Congratulations Emily!
From my earth sciences/remote sensing internship at NASA Ames Research Center in the Fall of 2019. We studied the impact of sediment loading from land use/land cover change on the island of Maui, all using satellite imagery.
Learning about snow algae sampling on Mt. Rainier in my summer 2018 REU at Central Washington University
The famous Leo Bodensteiner and his TAs in limnology lab, fall. A much loved professor and class!
Marine sciences REU at University of Delaware this summer. Loved learning about a complex estuarine watershed and the dynamics of organic matter in the system!
