Major: B.A. Environmental Studies
Minors: Environmental Education & Geography
Clare Janetzki is the 2020 Thomas Henry Huxley award recipient. Clare graduated from Huxley College in Winter of 2020 with a degree in Environmental Studies with a double minor in Environmental Education and Geography. She worked closely with the community through the Bellingham Farmers Market, as well as with the Whatcom Coalition for Environmental Education on promising practices for accessibility and cultural responsiveness. With an interest in food systems, volunteering with local organization Common Threads, and working with professor Gigi Berardi; Clare aims to pursue education surrounding the environment and food.
